Harvard Kennedy School welcomed first recipient of the Nurlan Kapparov Fellowship, Asset Abdualiyev.

Asset Abdualiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC Almaty Development Center, has been admitted to Mid-career Master in Public Administration program at Harvard Kennedy School as well as Master of Science in Management for Experienced Leaders program at the Stanford Graduates School of Business.

“It is a great honor and responsibility to receive the first scholarship named after Nurlan Kapparov, who was the first graduate of MC / MPA Mason program from Kazakhstan. This fellowship was established by friends and family of Nurlan Jambulovich in his memory. I am very grateful to them for their support and the opportunity to study at the Harvard School of Public Administration” Asset Abdualiyev wrote in his post on Facebook.

Professor Graham Allison, who met Nurlan Kapparov during his studies at HKS, said “This is an extraordinary initiative in memorializing Nurlan with a fellowship here at HKS. I am looking forward to the first Kapparov Fellow”.
